Siobhan was born in Dundalk, Ireland to a standard middle class family, through out her early schooling years her grades were among the lowest and her attention was more focused towards dancing in the competitions . As her grades began to drop her family soon realised there was only one way to help her and that was to send her to a boarding school to which her mother had attended .
Siobhan's first year was the toughest she ever had, it was this hard year that she learned not only the need to stand up for her self, but also the need for self control and when was the right time to back down . It wasn't long before her grade's began to show sign of improvement and as she got older her teachers pushed her grades towards her choosing path of a career in Medicine, . With the support of the Boarding school and her family they worked together to make Siobhan's dream a reality .
When Siobhan left her boarding School she attended the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland and later went to the Queen's College Belfast . She flourished in her studies always pushing herself to the fullest, determined to be the best and prove she could be the best in her field . The main skill that took her fancy was in Disease's, to which she held an great interest and skill in . She received top grades in all of her chosen field's .
On finishing her studies she was approached like a number students for employment to a medical research group in Derry who work in conjunction with the British government . It was here she first got noticed by the British Military and with there influence she found her self been placed on assignment with the British military on occasion . Over the next year the British Government repeated approachs with a proposal to work for them in London . At first she refused not wanting anything to do with been employed by the British Military, when a unknown virus was located outside of London with possible alien origin, the British government didn't ask but demanded her to move to London and work with other scientists . Against her better judgment, the idea of a new disease took over . All do a SG team returned through the gate with a cure, Siobhan's research was way ahead of the rest of the team and got her noticed again . It wasn't long before the British military placed her forward to Stargate command .

Siobhan has if anything a soft center from a tough shell, which was formed from her schooling years . She takes her oath to do no harm to heart and believes there is always a peaceful option . Her pride in her sometimes make her not willing to back down if she believes her opinion is right, even more if facing the military and pulling the civilian card if need be . She is a strong believer in everyone pulling there own weight and can get a control freak if in power.

" What the bloody hell gives you the right to enter my office and go through my belongs," A number of US Air men were packing up her belongings in to boxes blanking her as if she was scotch mist . One of the Airmen pushed his way past her making her loose her balance and fall into the door frame, not giving her the chance to return her Irish greeting . The officer in change at the center of the room pointed to her desk giving the order for a clear out of her desk, books, photos, personal items and even that old tooth bush which was on her table . Her desk and shelf were going to be bare in minutes and all she could do was jus
" Are you listen to me, cause I ain't talking to the wall . Who gave you the bloody right to be in here and ripping my stuff away in to boxes ."
As her face began to boil to explode more fuel was going in to the fire with the help of the officer reply " Ms Kells , Your a .." his first words were cut short by her quick response .
" Dame American's , Why am I not surprised . Your world yes, everyone has to follow you and jump to joy that you want them, well not me."
" Hold out now for one second, I've got orders to take you ." She tried to cut in but he was having none of it, but stepped forward into her face ," I don't give a rat's arse what you are think . My orders are to take you to the waiting plane, willingly or not ."
With that a voice she reorganized spoke out .
"I thought I told you to wait till I spoke to her." Brigadier Liam Whichter stood their behind her calmly as if it was an everyday event . She had worked along along side him with the British Army for far too long now . Siobhan's head tilted like a confused dog and let a scream . " What the .."
The Brigade broke into a calm voice as he took off his hat with the queens crest on it . " Relax Siobhan , I gave the order and agreed for you to do this new assignment ." Her face seemed even more confused . " They haven't told you yet , have they ." He paused ." Take a seat Siobhan," With his full trust, Siobhan took a seat and got on to his hunkers looking at her into her eye's ." What do know of the Stargate project Siobhan ."
" It's something to do with satellites in America . You told me all about it last year . God did I have to beat it out of you ." In away she always knew there was more behind that story .
" Let's take this one step at a time . They want me back in the Stargate project and they also need someone like you Siobhan ."
She began to shake her head . " I'm not sure on this Liam ." He held her hands as she began to rethink things . " But I trust You ."
